Ulrich (Uli) Grey-Smith earned his Winemaking degree in 1991 after four years of study at Roseworthy Agricultural College. Since then, Uli has completed thirty-seven vintages in capacities of Senior Winemaker, winemaker, consultant, trainee and cellar-hand. He has worked both in Australia and overseas. He has also taken on industry officer roles, both paid and unpaid, most notably for the Limestone Coast Grape and Wine Council in more recent years. Uli’s first judging spot was at the Mudgee Wine Show in 1994, and he has continued to judge at regional shows in most years since. He enjoys evaluating and consuming good wine regularly.
