Skye Salter is Winemaker and Co-Owner of Paralian Wines a small McLaren Vale wine brand that she launched with her husband and fellow winemaker, Charlie Seppelt in 2018. Paralian focusses on small batch single vineyard wines, the reds (Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon) hailing from Blewitt Springs in McLaren Vale and their Chardonnay from Kenton Valley in the Adelaide Hills.

Skye worked vintages overseas in Burgundy, Languedoc-Roussilon and the Okanagan Valley before planting roots in the McLaren Vale region where she has worked for multiple brands including Hardys, Wirra Wirra and Pennys Hill.

More recently Skye was the full time Winemaker for Willunga 100 (a boutique ‘grenache-centric’ McLaren Vale winery) but took the plunge late 2022 – resigning from this role to focus full time on Paralian.
