Peter’s wine making journey started in Coonawarra way back in the 1996 vintage, working in the cellar at Wynns and he is excited after all these years to be able to help judge the 2026 LCWS. Originally from Melbourne, Peter has now lived in the Barossa Valley for the past 25 years and has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to make wines from all over SA, NZ and Tasmania over that period. His current role as Group Red Winemaker for Vinarchy, along with his custodianship of the iconic St. Hugo brand for the last 7 years have forged strong links and a deep understanding of the Limestone Coast despite his distant residence.
