I’m a Consultant Winemaker with over 25 years’ experience in the grape and wine sector having worked as a vineyard hand to senior winemaker and most roles in between.  Over the past two decades, I have led teams to collect over 85 trophies and 330 gold medals for Bleasdale Vineyards and clients across red, white, sparkling and fortified categories, including the Jimmy Watson Memorial, Red Wine of Show in Perth, Sydney, Adelaide (Max Schubert Trophy), Adelaide Hills and Langhorne Creek.  In 2018 I was awarded The Halliday Winemaker of the Year, and in 2024 The Halliday Winery of the Year.  I work with viticulturalists, winemakers and brand owners, developing their wines and production programs from vineyard to bottle, focusing on the bigger picture or a narrow focus depending on their individual circumstance and requirements, improving efficiencies and return on investment.  I’m honoured and excited to be invited to the Limestone Coast wine show and particularly enthused about tasting some great Cabernet and blends and hopefully uncovering some hidden treasure.
