Natalie Cleghorn has more than 27 years of experience in the wine industry, with a passion for winemaking sparked by a single glass of Champagne. Her career spans both commercial and artisan winemaking, building a reputation for excellence across sparkling, still, and premium wine production. She is currently Head Winemaker for Beresford in McLaren Vale and was previously Senior Sparkling Winemaker for Pinnacle Drinks, where she specialised in wines from Tasmania and the Yarra Valley. Earlier roles include Chief Winemaker at Mitchelton, Senior Winemaker at Katnook Estate, and senior winemaking positions with Yalumba/Hill-Smith Family Estates, Oxford Landing Estates, and Dalrymple in Tasmania. She has also gained international vintage experience at Clos Figueres in Priorat, Spain. Natalie is an accomplished wine show judge, having served as both panel chair and judge at numerous wine shows over the past 16 years. She is a graduate of the prestigious Len Evans Tutorial and has twice been named a finalist in the Australian Women in Wine Awards – Winemaker of the Year.
