Born and bred in McLaren Vale, Matt was immersed in the wine industry from a young age. Now with more than 20 years of winemaking experience, Matt’s commitment and passion for wine is unwavering. Matt completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science) through Charles Sturt University, and he has completed international vintages in the Napa Valley, Central Otago and Mosel Valley. He moved to Margaret River in 2012 where he has had the opportunity to make wine from some of the best performing vineyards across Western Australia. Matt is also a regular wine show judge, an AWRI Advanced Wine Assessment Course DUX recipient and in 2025 was a scholar of the prestigious Len Evans Tutorial.
