Jordan began his wine career at Hollick Estates, initially planning just a gap year. However, after two vintages and a growing passion for winemaking, he was encouraged to study part-time at Charles Sturt University while continuing hands-on work. By his third vintage, he was offered the role of Assistant Winemaker. After two more years, he sought a change and moved to Adelaide to be closer to his partner, taking a Lab Manager role at Bird in Hand. There, he gained experience with larger-scale production more skewed towards white wine and fruit from across South Australia and Tasmania. After 2.5 years, the opportunity to return to Coonawarra came via an Assistant Winemaker role at Rymill. Just before his 10th vintage, Jordan was offered the Head Winemaker position at Hollick, bringing his journey full circle. He has now held that role for the past 2.5 years.
