Brooke was born in Mount Gambier and graduated from the University of Adelaide with a degree in Oenology.  She started her winemaking career at Hollick Wines and then travelled to Spain for her first vintage in the Northern Hemisphere.  However, Canada captured Brooke’s heart for the next 11 years. Whilst there, she experienced a vintage in Chile and after more than a decade of winemaking in Canada, Brooke decided it was time to return to Australian soil.  She joined the Peter Lehmann winemaking team in 2017 and in 2022, was lucky enough to find herself once again working with Coonawarra fruit, as the Senior Winemaker for Brand’s Laira.
