The Limestone Coast Wine Industry Council (LSCWIC) Technical Sub-Committee

The Technical Sub-Committee (TSC) has technical representatives from Fosters Group, Stonehaven Vineyards, Yalumba, Orlando Wyndham, Balnaves of Coonawarra and Browns of Padthaway.

The role of the Technical Committee is to:

• Offer technical resources / support to the LSCWIC Executive Committee
• Coordinate research activities within the Limestone Coast region especially in regard to joint projects between government / private bodies and the LSCWIC.
• Identify research priorities for all regions within the Limestone Coast.
• Determine the research status of current research trials
• Review any proposals for trials / research projects in the Limestone Coast as requested by the LSCWIC.

It was decided that a review of historical and current research trials, both company and Government agency based undertaken in the Limestone Coast Wine Zone was necessary before future research priorities could be identified.

A database of this research has been compiled and will be updated as trials are completed or new projects undertaken.
